Well, the topic is about Berlin, and, unfortunately, it is the only German city I was able to visit.

Ah ok, well i only add this , because, if you like the Berghain, Robert Johnson would also be really impressive for you, it was only a recommendation.
Back to topic, how i said, Berghain is awesome, other really impressive Club and not less important for the city, is the Watergate.

Best club is Arena Club! Watergate and Berghain are also good, but too snobby

Panorama bar is the best one for me! Is very very particular !

I'm living in Berlin and all I can say:

Be sure the Berghain/Panorama Bar is a very special place and "a must have been".The watergate is always overfilled and mostly full of tourists just getting drunk or looking for a girl and the guys at the door just play their simple game.
there a lot of local clubs which are great,too but u won't find them if you're just here for a visit.
if u don't want to queue be sure to arrive at the berghain at about 1 in the night or much more better:
go there in the morning at about 8 or 9 after having a great breakfast.it will be full of relaxed people and everything.cause u can be sure that u have to queue for 1 or 2hours if u get there for peak time.
if u wanna get the best sound quality be sure to check otu the tape club.but it's definitely a more housy one.
